Privacy Policy
Last updated September 20, 2026
This policy covers vincechafin.co, which I run myself. It describes what I collect, why, who processes it on my behalf, and how you can get it removed. If anything here is unclear, write to me at vchafin@gmail.com and I will answer you personally.
What I collect
- What you give me. Your name, email address, phone number, and anything you type into a form on this site: event registrations, the guide download, speaking enquiries, school applications, and the email signup. Event registration also asks how you heard about the work, and may ask about your experience so I know how to hold you in the room.
- Payment details. Handled entirely by Stripe. Card numbers never reach this site and I never see them. I receive the amount, the item, and your name and email from Stripe so I can confirm your place.
- Usage data. Pages viewed, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type, and which link or ad brought you here.
Cookies and similar technologies
Essential cookies keep the site working, remember your cookie choice, and carry your registration through to payment. Those cannot be turned off without breaking checkout.
Analytics and advertising technologies tell me which content and which ads bring people to an event. The main one is the Meta pixel, which reports to Facebook and Instagram that a visit, a page view, or a purchase happened. Choosing Reject non-essentialin the cookie banner declines these. You can change your mind by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the banner back.
Who processes data for me
- Stripe for payments.
- GoHighLevel as my CRM and email system, where registrations and enquiries land.
- Meta for advertising measurement, if you accepted non-essential cookies.
- Netlify for hosting, which keeps standard server logs.
- Cal.com for booking calls, on the pages that offer one.
I do not sell your information and I do not trade it. No list of yours is rented to anyone.
Why I am allowed to hold it
Because you asked for something and I need the details to deliver it, or because you consented to hear from me, or because I have a legitimate interest in running and measuring my own business. Tax and accounting law requires me to keep purchase records.
How long I keep it
Purchase and tax records for seven years, as required. Everything else for as long as you want to hear from me, and I delete it when you ask.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from any email I send, using the link in that email.
- Ask me for a copy of what I hold about you.
- Ask me to correct it or delete it.
- California residents have additional rights, including the right to opt out of the sharing of personal information for advertising. Make that request here.
Email vchafin@gmail.com for any of these. I answer within 30 days and I do not charge for it.
Children
This site and my events are for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If I change this policy I change the date at the top. Material changes get an email to anyone on my list.
