Become the facilitator people trust in the moments that matter most.

A man breaks open and the group looks at you. Someone goes quiet in a way that is not peace. The story on the carpet turns out not to be the story. Most people called to this work were never trained for those moments. They were handed a method and told to be confident. Confidence is not the same as capacity.
The Dojo is what I call my teaching spaces. Below are the ways in.
Become the facilitator people trust in the moments that matter most.
Not the facilitator who can perform transformation. The one who stays grounded when emotion rises, who knows the edge of their own skill, and who can create safety without controlling the room. That is trainable. It is trained by doing it in front of someone who will tell you the truth about what you just did.

How I teach it
First you see what you could not see, in yourself before anyone else. Then you bring your practice into line with what you saw. Then you do it in a real room, with real stakes, and find out what is true. Every training I run moves in that order, because a facilitator who has not done their own work will lead a room right up to the edge of their own avoidance and stop there.
I am not polite about it. I am loving about it. Those are not the same thing, and this work needs the second one.
